MIC sales did not fall, despite the coronavirus
The organization of the Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) held a webinar on which MIC leaders told the visitors that sales of motorcycles remained at the same level, despite the impact of coronavirus on all categories of economy. Surprising news, as the economies around the world slipped slightly.
Unfortunately, no figures are not announced, so this news can be taken as fact. The message attached a few graphs that you can see below. According to Eric Pritchard, the Director General and the President of the MIC, the reports of the rapporteurs indicate that sales of motorcycles in 2020 began to grow, even after the blow to the economy from the COVID-19.
Eric noted that sales slowed down a bit, but even at that rate, they were higher than last year. In this context, means the most difficult months: April and March. May statistics have not been considered yet, but the forecasts are rosy.
Really amazing. We could assume a significant decline in sales, which is spoken in many other countries. Moreover, many manufacturers have closed on quarantine. The decline is likely in the United States occur with a delay.
